Fear is not a ‘barrier’ it is an evolutionary survival instinct which prevents us taking stupid risks when confronted with something clearly more powerful. Even lions can be driven off a kill by Hyienas. They don’t move out of coutesy they are afraid and there are good reasons for them to be afraid. Only idiots have no fear.
