Dear William T, Thank you but please tell me more about ‘ some one might help you. Who this someone has to be - a trained person or a family member ? … This is beginning means are there further advancement in the technique ? Pl add few details.

Hi
Hypnosis can be very effective in inducing sleep, and as you rightly say it is a ntural way to do this. As William T says counting down can be a very useful way to relax- but only for some people. If you are having to ask questions on here about how easily one could relax enough to sleep I would imagine, that you dont find it easy to relax so you need more than this for now.

You really need to learn hypnosis from a competent therapist, some suitable music from your therapist might help but it does take a bit of practice, it wont happen overnight. You need to experience hypnosis first then a slightly deeper level of trance with a therapist who should be able to show you how to use self hypnhypnosis.

What is important though, is that if something is worrying you or keeping you awake at night you need to address this first and foremost. You might find my webapge on anxiety or stress useful : http://www.ripleyhypnotherapy.co.uk/anxiety-2.html
