Weeeell, that’s a pretty broad question :D. It depends on the hypnotist and the subject really. Hypnosis is just a technique that produces an altered state of mind; it can be used for all kinds of things. Therapeutic stuff (helping with addiction or fear) or, as in this case, entertainment.

Well i was watching the spiral and reading the words, just over and over again. At some point is tarted to think “I am going to get hypnotised” Maybe it is because i wasn’t relaxed or something.

It’s a difficult thing to describe exactly, and there isn’t really such a thing as FULLY under, just under to the point where interesting things can start to happen. The whole time you were watching it, were you thinking “must get hypnotized, must get hypnotized”? Or did that shift at some point to “Hmm, this…is interesting…I’ll just keep watching and…see where it goes…”? If you experience a change in the way you’re thinking, then it’s probably working, at least to some degree.

I am a very difficult person to hypnotize! I have been watching this video series and find it working for me only when I’m capable of relaxing enough to allow the power of suggestion to work its way to my subconscious. I am seeking a way to release tension by temporarily relinquishing mental control to the power of hypnosis. I am on my 30th+ viewing and I am learning and experiencing different states of hypnosis. I will continue to learn from the hypnosis experience.

First, see my comment below. You’re not supposed to forget anything with this one, just strengthen the effect. Second…I’m afraid I can’t say much that would help, other then the obvious: be sure you’re not distracted, etc when watching it. A lot of it comes down to personality, and unfortunately there’s only so much I can put in a ten-minuted file. That, and of course, I’m still learning myself.
