Red man said it …
Red man said it best when he said hip hop from the eighties and nineties was more culture than business and that the hip hop today is more business and less culture and that today hip hop needs to be evened or balanced out. Culture/business fifty fifty so that the essence of the culture can be experienced and that artists can eat from their art comfortably. As most of us are lamenting today a lot of what we hear commercially is garbage. Looking forward to the good underground hip hop to rise

Actually, Ra did shoot a lot of subs at Kane on his Follow The Leader album, and on a couple of tracks from Let The Rhythm Hit Em. In interviews, Ra mentioned that Kane fired a lot of subs his way too, but I could never find them … but Ra was so heated about one of the disses he was going to drop an all out killer track to shut Kane down.
