I Think it was an elected replacement for BOTH teeth. The reason for the replacements were not mentioned, however having my share of Dental work, I had a Large cavity on my Left-Front tooth; my Dentist ended up placing Implants (Caps) on BOTH of my front teeth due to color matching, eventual cavity prevention, Gum damage & other cosmetic and Medical/Dental reasons….
