I’m 16 years old, recently began to study Astral Travel. I usually try at night and in the morning. Only problem is, I get to the part where my whole body feels out of porportion, hands feel bigger and nearer than they actually are, and I become out of breath. My whole body is also numb, I can’t feel the first 3 fingers on each hand, but my pinky and ring finger can still feel the texture of my bed. Techniques I use are Straining the Brain and Listening In. I tried Visualation, but nothing comes up. I’ve even tried to fall in between the point if wakefullness and sleep, then wake up again. When straining my brain, my physical head starts so vibrate literally, and I doubt this is the vibrations I should feel. I can’t get further. What am I doing wrong? I studied Meditation and hipnosis for about 2 years, so relaxing isn’t exactly a problem. Any advice?

I’m not looking for that stupid "your getting sleeeeppyy" stuff. I’m talking about how to get someone to do somehing they wouldn’t do normally. Like eat something they hate.

There are even now few magicians in Calcutta, India. They teach all these things. You have to become a disciple. But before initiating, they may want you to remain on fast for a day. If you are prepared for it, then you may like to pursue. They don’t charge any fees for the tuition. But at the end of the course, the students are supposed to give some donations to the Master as a token of respect and affection.

I would have to disagree with the previous comments. Hypnosis is not evil or destructive. In fact, even some church counselors have been integrating hypnotherapy into their practice. More and more hospitals, doctors and government institutions are using hypnosis and hypnotherapy as a natural alternative to behavior modification and pain treatment. Anyone wishing to stay away from this natural form of healing seriously needs to look into the research.

hypnosis has been used for developing telekinesis, but I can’t tell you for a fact that it works. In my practice I only use it as an experimental process for those wanting to develop their mind. How come you need telekinesis so badly? You can give it a shot. Never stop dreaming or believing!

Is there any hypnotic videos that actually make you completely fall asleep. I have seen one where it makes your eyes close for a moment or so but not actually fall asleep.

Those who have learnt hypnotism can only know the meaning of such things. I also doubt how it can develop on its own without our effort. I think hypnotism is also a kind of miracle or magic.
